The owners, Craig and Cherie Carney, have been in the Little Rock area for over thirty-five years. They were married in 1981. They have three children, two married and one attending Midwestern Theological Seminary in Kansas City. They currently have four grandchildren. Cherie Carney has been in the childcare business since she was sixteen. While in high school she worked at a daycare in her home town. She worked for Baptist Preparatory School as their Extended Care program Director for eleven years. She retired from First Baptist Church after serving as their Children's Minister for fourteen years. Cherie is excited to have her dream of owning her own daycare center come true and for her daughter, Michelle Dewitt, to join the journey with her. Michelle, along with other great staff will be making Miss Cherie's Daycare your child's home away from home!

Our mission is to see each child learn to love and serve God and others with all the gifts that God has ordained for him or her. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this, you shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these. Mark 12:30-31
OUR GOALS
Our goal is to offer developmentally appropriate learning activities for your child in a Christ-centered, loving and safe environment. We will meet the following program goals:
- Encourage spiritual development through Bibles stories, song and daily life experiences
- Provide opportunities for physical development in both gross and fine motor skills
- Provide opportunities for your child to grow mentally and socially through in-house field trips, books, hands-on learning materials, and daily interaction with friends
- Partner with parents in assessing, planning, and evaluating each child's progress
- Encourage family involvement when possible, through parent's night-out, holiday fun and much more
